There is a story behind this. I was driving over Angke fly over at 10 minutes to midnight on 2013 New Years Eve. It was a rainy night. Fireworks were lighting up the dark sky and created a spectacular light show. Every motorist stopped in the middle of the fly over blocking the traffic. Not able to go anywhere, I switched the car off and stepped out and joined the crowd, Looking toward Season City Mall in the distance I could not help but being inspired by the panorama before me. Thus the inspiration for this painting was born.
