KOTA TUA HERITAGE BUILDING - JEMBATAN KOTA INTAN - pen on paper, 20x25cm unframed, 2016


This draw bridge had many different names in the past but it's first name ever was "Englese Brug" or "English Bridge". According to historians, the bridge connected one side of the river where the Dutch were to the other side where most of the English were, hence the name "Englese Brug"
